BACHELOR OF ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT

Entry Requirements 

  • Mean grade of C+ (Plus) or equivalent with at least C+ (Plus) in any three of the following subjects: Geography, Mathematics, Technical Drawing, English, Business Studies, Computer Studies, Economics, Fine Art, Agriculture or Biology OR 
  • Two (2) Principals and one (1) Subsidiary at KACE or equivalent in the relevant subjects OR 
  • Mean grade of C (Plain) at KCSE or equivalent with a Diploma of at least credit pass in a relevant field of study from a recognized institution OR
  • Mean grade of C- (Minus) at KCSE and progressed from certificate to Diploma from recognized/accredited institutions.

Examination
Candidates s will be examined through written examinations (CAT/Assignments and sit in examination), practical examinations (i.e. Studio) and research project (individual student).

Certification
Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Environmental Planning and Management). Classification is as follows, 1st class honours (70 - 100% marks, mean score), 2nd Class Honours, Upper Division (60 - 69%, mean score), 2nd Class Honours, Lower Division (50 - 59%, mean score), Pass, (40 - 49%, mean score).
